September 19, 2025, Friday, 7 PM: “World Renowned Clocks” Our speaker will be Russ Oechsle, with a presentation on clockmaker John L. Wheeler, who made exceptional shelf clocks in the village of Nassau, NY in the 1835-1845 period. Held at Schodack Town Hall, 265 Schuurman Rd Castleton, NY.

October 17, 2025, Friday, 7 PM: Victor Batorsky, City of Rensselaer Historian, will present an all new program entitled “It All Started In Rensselaerswyck”, an industrial history beginning in 1621. Held at Schodack Town Hall, 265 Schuurman Rd Castleton, NY.

November 21, 2025, Friday, 7 PM: By member request, Jack McEneny, retired City of Albany Historian and author, will present the history of the 73 acres of spectacular property that began in the mid -1800’s as a private estate later to become a convent and school, known as “KENWOOD.” Held at Schodack Town Hall, 265 Schuurman Rd Castleton, NY.

February 20, 2026 at 7PM: “Annie Oakley” Step back in time to listen to historical reenactor Denise Wright as she portrays one of America’s finest sharpshooters. She will share tales of her time with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show and her illustrious career. Held at Schodack Town Hall, 265 Schuurman Rd Castleton, NY.

March 20, 2026 at 7PM: “The Interesting and the Oddities” Mark Bodnar, President of the Board of Trustees of the Albany Rural Cemetery, will present this very unique historical program.

April 17, 2026: Annual Meeting Our speaker, Sean Kelleher, Saratoga County Historian, will present his program, “Trails of Revolution: Knox, Schuyler, and the Winter that Forged America” for the 250th anniversary.
